Job 1 – Computer vision developer/engineer
OTMETKA are looking for an experienced developer to develop our computer vision system for the forestry industry. In this role you will work with the entire computer vision pipeline – from the hardware capturing images to the algorithms doing the image processing.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluating, selecting and implementing cameras and other equipment required to solve our challenges.
- Developing new image processing algorithms and maintaining and improving existing ones and evaluating their effectiveness.
- Collaborating with other software developers to use various parts of the computer vision system in larger contexts.
- Create and maintain documentation for all parts of the system.
Requirements:
- Education in relevant field.
- Great oral and written communication in Swedish and English.

- Able to quickly learn new topics and adapt to changes.
- Experience and interest in working with machine learning methods for computer vision.

Job 2 – System developer
OTMETKA are looking for an experienced developer to develop our data solution for traceability in the forestry industry. In this role you will be working together with other skilled software developers to develop systems to help the digital transformation of the forestry industry and ensure traceability in the supply chain.
Requirements:
- Education in relevant field.
- Great oral and written communication in Swedish and English.
- Well-motivated and able to plan their own work.
- Able to quickly learn new topics and adapt to changes.
- Experience working with databases and developing data pipelines.
- Knowledge of public key cryptography and public key infrastructure.

Job 3 – Mechanical designer
OTMETKA is looking for a mechanical designer who is passionate about machine design with a particular focus on heavy vehicles (forest machines) in an innovative environment. As a mechanical designer, you will also gradually get into electromechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics. You will be part of a small work team where you will gradually learn from older, experienced colleagues.
Requirements:
- Education in relevant field.
- Experience in mechanical manufacturing and production planning.
- Experience in drawing preparation.
- Good oral and written communication in Swedish and English.
- Well-motivated and able to plan their own work.
- Able to quickly learn new topics and adapt to changes.
- Stress resistant.
Skills:
- Especially a plus if you already work with IronCAD.
- Especially a plus if you have experience working with electromechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Experience from calculation work (FEM analyses).
- Experience from work in machine construction, especially with forestry machines.
- Mechanical manufacturing experience.
Job 4 – Mechanical engineer and fitter
OTMETKA is looking for a mechanical engineer and fitter in one and the same person in the area of heavy vehicles (forestry machines). You will work together with an experienced team, which means that even younger people can apply for this job. Most of the time you are located in Östhammar where you work in an industry.
Requirements:
- Education in relevant field.
- Good oral and written communication in Swedish and preferably English.
- Well-motivated and able to plan their own work.
- Able to quickly learn new topics and adapt to changes.
- Experience from work in assembly, hydraulics, pneumatics and electronics.
- Some knowledge of embedded programming and CANBUS technology.
- Can read and understand drawings and written instructions.
- Experience with forest machines is a plus.
- Placement in Östhammar alternatively Uppsala.

- Especially a plus if you worked as a harvester driver or service technician for forest machines.
